Nearly 2,000 truck parts dealers, distributors and service executives gathered at The Venetian | Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino and the adjacent Sands Expo and Convention Center for three days of educational workshops, a supplier fair and keynote presentations highlighted by business and racing legend Roger Penske.

Specifically, Dolphin delivers support and solutions based on SAP business efficiency software to help companies address business process management and information lifecycle management.

Voltage will provide copywriting and editing services for press releases and other public relations (PR) materials, online content strategy and revised web copy, and content for technical ‘white papers’ explaining the value of the company’s data archiving products and philosophies.

With the recent introduction of Fall 2011 seasonal apparel, footwear and equipment products, Columbia now offers backpacks with a new feature known as Backdraft™, a cooling mesh back panel. Backdraft technology provides bag clearance away from the body and encourages airflow to help prevent the wearer from overheating and perspiring.

Prior to founding Voltage Communications, Corey Grice contributed a series of product naming suggestions, including Backdraft, while as a Columbia employee. The bags have finally made it to market, and Columbia currently offers the trademarked Backdraft product feature on eight models of premium packs.

Henry V won two Marketing Awards of Excellence (MAX) Awards in June for the company’s yearlong work on a national cheese tasting tour for dairy client Tillamook. Henry V earned the 2011 Best Integrated Marketing Campaign – Business to Consumer and the 2011 Judges’ Choice awards.

Voltage Communications manages external promotions including award campaigns for Henry V and wrote the award-winning entries, checked for factual accuracy and managed the successful submission process.

By contributing clear and concise PR messaging to the magazine’s editors, Voltage helped Henry V appear in an article about “How iPads are Changing Special Events.” The publication highlighted how Henry V created custom oversized touchscreen displays made to resemble an Apple iPad for its client Freightliner, a major truck manufacturer. The touchscreens enabled Freightliner executive presenters to more naturally control their presentations to attendees at its annual dealer meeting.

In addition, Henry V helped Freightliner distribute hundreds of pre-programmed iPads with a custom app to dealership employees as a truck design and sales tool. And, Voltage media relations efforts helped Henry V explain the unique event and its benefits in a way that appealed to editors.

In May, Voltage began working with Downstream on a series of RFP responses and new business proposals for clients including Oracle, Fidelity Investments and the University of Southern California (USC).

Downstream focuses on enhancing interior spaces through large-scale permanent graphic installations and custom interactive touchscreen displays. Voltage has also contributed to the oversight of content strategy needs for Downstream’s clients’ digital content.

Voltage Communications recently prepared and submitted an award nomination on behalf of Henry V, which resulted in honors from Event Design Magazine.

Henry V last month was named the 2010 Event Design Awards Bronze Winner for Best Mobile Marketing Vehicle for the agency’s creation of customized vehicles for its client, Tillamook Cheese, part of an ongoing nationwide consumer tasting tour.
